Ok, I am having one of thoughts days where anything simple doesn't work.  I do these small programs all the time and now, I don't know why it will not work.  What am I doing wrong?  Why is not working?  Frustrating day.

No idea? What error(s) do you get? Why not read the file to an array using _FileReadToArray and then cast the array value as a number using Number().

It's not looping because you open ram.txt with the 1 parameter which means append to the file, so the file line is moved to the last line of the file. The FileReadLine doesn't read anything, so it exits the loop.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.
