RBrown1375 Posted May 22, 2013 Share Posted May 22, 2013 I'm using SciTE Ver. 3.2.0 to write my scripts and I wrote a few scripts that worked great, but during some testing of another software, my AutoIT folder was deleted and I lost all my .Au3 scripts for the last two years and need to covert my Exe's back to Au3. I have looked everywhere and can find it, so I guess I really didn't look everywhere if you know where it is. Does anyone know where I can get this tool so I can start over? If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. And the converter for the version which you could do it, will not work on later versions. so you're cooked I'm afraid. Plus, discussion of this subject is forbidden on these forums. You clearly missed the Wiki FAQ that said that decompiling an exe is a violation of the license for AutoIt. It also doesn't say that decompiling a script, or talking about decompiling is a valid question. P.S. Anyone have write access to that part of the Wiki BTW? The page "Decompilation FAQ" needs updating, there's been changes since that was written.
