Hi all members in Autoit Forum.

I try to set pos in internet explorer_sever. But it 's not working.

This is my code.

Who can fix it for me?

#include <GuiScrollBars.au3>
#include <ScrollBarConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>

Example()
Func Example()
   $IE = ObjCreate("Shell.Explorer.2")
    $GUI=GUICreate("Test", 640, 450, (@DesktopWidth - 640) / 2, (@DesktopHeight - 580) / 2, BitOR($WS_OVERLAPPEDWINDOW, $WS_CLIPSIBLINGS, $WS_CLIPCHILDREN))
    $oIE=GUICtrlCreateObj($IE, 10, 40, 600, 360)
    $hand=GUICtrlGetHandle($oiE)
    CONSOLEWRITE($hand)
    GUISetState() ;Show GUI
    $SPAM='Auto it <br>'
   FOR $I=1 to 6
       $SPAM &= $SPAM
   NEXT
   $F=FILEOPEN(@desktopdir & '/ie.html',2+128)
   FILEWRITE($F,$SPAM)
   FILECLOSE($F)
   $IE.navigate(@desktopdir & '/ie.html')
_GUIScrollBars_Init($hand)
_GUIScrollBars_SETScrollInfoPos($hand, $SB_VERT,5)
 While 1
 IF GUIGetMsg() = $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE then
 Exit
 EndIf
 WEND
 EndFunc ;==>Example

Thanks!

Check the return value ($hand) and the error code (@error)  of GUICtrlGetHandle.

First you need to know the error that is returned, then you have to read the help file and then you can fix it.

So: What's the value of $hand and @error after you call GUICtrlGetHandle?

Before I can help you fix it I need to know what the problem is. That's why I ask all those questions.

Use function

MsgBox(0, "", @error)

after ControlGetHandle to check for an error.

This means that the ControlGetHandle was successfull! The handle (HWND) value can't be displayed using ConsoleWrite or MsgBox. Try

MsgBox(0, "", IsHWnd($hand))

You can't get the handle of an embedded object like that, the return from _GUIScrollBars_Init is -2, which means you're not sending it a handle. I'm not sure that there is a way to get a handle for that object so that anything that needs a handle can work with it.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Hi,

This is a function I use in my GUIExtender UDF to get the handle of embedded IE objects - credit goes to trancexx for the all-important DllCall:

; #FUNCTION# =========================================================================================================
; Name...........: _GUIExtender_Obj_Data
; Description ...: Store additional info on embedded objects
; Syntax.........: _GUIExtender_Obj_Data($iCID, $oObj)
; Parameters ....: $iCID - Returned ControlID from GUICtrlCreateObj
;                  $iObj - Object reference number from initial object creation
; Requirement(s).: v3.3 +
; Return values .: Success:  Returns 1
;                  Failure:  Returns 0 and sets @error to 1
; Author ........: Melba23, DllCall from trancexx
; Remarks .......: This allows embedded objects to be used in the UDF
; Example........: Yes
;=====================================================================================================================
Func _GUIExtender_Obj_Data($iCID, $iObj)

    ; Increase array size
    $aGUIExt_Obj_Data[0][0] += 1
    ReDim $aGUIExt_Obj_Data[$aGUIExt_Obj_Data[0][0] + 1][2]
    ; Store ControlID
    $aGUIExt_Obj_Data[$aGUIExt_Obj_Data[0][0]][0] = $iCID
    ; Determine and store object handle
    Local $aRet = DllCall("oleacc.dll", "int", "WindowFromAccessibleObject", "idispatch", $iObj, "hwnd*", 0)
    If @error Or $aRet[0] Then Return SetError(1, 0, 0)
    $aGUIExt_Obj_Data[$aGUIExt_Obj_Data[0][0]][1] = $aRet[2]

    Return 1

EndFunc

And you use it like this:

Global $oIE_1 = _IECreateEmbedded()
Global $hIE_1 = GUICtrlCreateObj($oIE_1, 10, 50, 730, 350)

_GUIExtender_Obj_Data($hIE_1, $oIE_1) ; <<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<<

Obviously it will need to be rewritten to fit this case, but the basis is there. :)
