Scite Bug on saving

Recommended Posts

@jos and others,

i installed the latest Scite Version 3.3.0, Mar 30 2013 17:50:01

there is a slight but annoying bug. when i alter and save a script, the "undo" header button grays out, instead of the "save" button.

can i fix that somehow or is there an update ?

regards Edano

Edano,

The "Save" icon not greying out was introduced into SciTE a few versions ago by its developers - nothing to do with Jos' modifications.  I imagine the "Undo" icon was altered at the same time.  :)

I always use Ctrl-Z rather than the icon and that certainly still works even with the icon greyed out. ;)

okay. i really wonder why that was changed. i am so used to it

and yes, you can still undo via Edit and hotkey. so it makes no sense to grey it out, right ?

hmmm. never change a running system ;)
