percentd Posted May 31, 2013 Share Posted May 31, 2013 Background: Say I have this server which runs a game, but automatically locks itself up after 5 minutes ( for security reasons ). I have finished writing a script that allows for auto restart with some custom settings like restart interval, etc. However, I'm facing a problem as I cannot reaccess the server once it is locked. The game will not work with controletc commands as it is a minecraft server ( screw java = ), hence my script depends on send() and mouseclick(), which will not work when the server is locked. My problem: Is there a way to automatically unlock windows? Even if it involves a 3rd party program, I really dont mind. Or is there a work around? I've thought of a solution that is, shutting down windows when the script needs to be restarted, and using sysinternal from microsoft to log back in, but I dont really think that would work out that well. Besides, I'm not sure how to shutdown windows from the script ( maybe shell.run some external shutdown program ). Don't be mistaken... = Edit:--- I know its still against the rules well, but I'd really like some help for unlocking windows in general. It dosent have to be used with games, right?
