At the risk of whipping a dead horse, it appears that if accellerator ENTER is set for a function, the misbehaviour of the colored buttons goes away.

I could be wrong, but it's worth checking out if you wish to do gharish buttons.

Interesting - thanks for posting.

I will keep that in mind for future questions about suhc things. Personally I still think coloured buttons look awful - particularly as you lose the ability to add any other styles to the control.
