Cav3man Posted June 10, 2013 Share Posted June 10, 2013 I have an autoit script on the hard drive of the computer. The script on the HD does an iniread to an ini file located on a USB flash drive to get it's options. If I try to "Safely Remove" the flash drive after after the iniread has occured, window states that the flash drive is in use. At this point if I end the script running on the HD I can then safely remove the flash drive. Is there an some way to close the ini file after it's read so the the script on the hd can continue to run and the flash drive can be safely removed? I've looked at "FileClose" but that requires a file handle. File handles don't seemed to be used by the ini functions so I'm at a loss here. Any Ideas? When I isolated my script to just the part that reads the ini file it did not interferre with the removal of the flash drive. Something else is tying it up. Thanks for your help.
