Ferdie
I'm running a script in the background to detect USB drive changes and then trigger a backup process when a identified disk is inserted. I'm using code such as While 1 $Msg = GetMsg() Sleep(1000) Wend Unfortunately everytime the code runs to check for a disk change, it takes focus from the current window but don't return it. This means that while I'm typing an email, my cursor suddenly disappears and I have to manually click on the Outlook window again to continue again. Is there a way not to change the window focus at all? when the script executes after sleeping in the loop? Many thanks Ferdie.
Moderators Melba23 Posted June 12, 2013 Moderators Share Posted June 12, 2013 Ferdie,I have many scripts running in the background and none of them steal the keyboard focus when they activate (unless of course they are supposed to). Could you please post your script so that we can see what might be causing you this problem. When you do so please use Code tags - see here how to do it.
