preben1337,

Yuo have already received several suggestions as to how to spark your coding imagination. Other then the subject that I hope you have now learned to avoid, what else you do with a computer that could be benefit from being automated? I use AutoIt to do several things that otherwise would take me away from what I want to do. So the question is really one for you to answer - what do you need to do? :)

@mikell: that "girl" is pretty :geek:

@preben: have something you want to automate/accomplish with your computer/autoit, open SciTe, try and error write the code.

If you found problem or something doesn't work:

1. read the help file

2. search autoit forum

3. search google

if non of them help:

4. post questions on this forum, but pay attention on this forum rules

There are many experts here that willing to help and very helpful.

At least that is what i am doing :sweating:

And you have no idea how AutoIT (and this forum) save my life

@preben1337 - Not knowing your wife, I can't really say for sure, but I suspect that AutoIt is much more like your faithful four-legged companion ... reliable and always there ... though it can't cook, tidy or wash your things for you, etc. Though I guess it complains if you get things wrong, but is perhaps more forgiving. o:)

Why don't you make up a database to deal with your wife's expenditures ... she's sure to love your investigations ... and the inevitable responses and suggestions you make. ;)

EDIT

Oops, though I was back in Chat for a while there ... surprising what turns up in General Help these days.

If I put effort into communication, I expect you to read properly & fully, or just not comment.
Ignoring those who try to divert conversation with irrelevancies.
If I'm intent on insulting you or being rude, I will be obvious, not ambiguous about it.
I'm only big and bad, to those who have an over-active imagination.

I may have the Artistic Liesense ;) to disagree with you. TheSaint's Toolbox (be advised many downloads are not working due to ISP screwup with my storage)
