Issue Sending Multiple ControlSend()

This is some test code that I have been using to select all the text in notepad, replace it with what I need and then copying what it pasted.

The issue that I am running into is that it send the select all, but then doesn't send any of the other commands. For some reason sending multiple ControlSend() isn't working. Would someone be able to assist me in getting this to work? It is crucial that it's ControlSend() and not just Send()

Zeerti, in your example it looks like you are trying to do a paste before you do the copy. What is your ultimate goal, are you trying to replace the text, or add text before or after the existing text?

Or better yet, FileRead and FileWrite and forget automating something in Notepad.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

So long story short, I am making a bot for my company, the reason I need to replace the text and then copy it is that for some reason pasting directly into our chat seems to obliterate the next line and instead of it being a readable post it is coming out as a wall of text. I found that copying and pasting from notepad keeps the look (I really can't recall the name of what this is called when something keeps it's look)
