I must run a command wich tell to an autoit script to do somethnig. I have no ideea where to start. It is possible? orbs Posted June 27, 2013 Share Posted June 27, 2013 AutoIt being a strictly Windows thing, implement it directly on Linux would involve Wine running your AutoIt script as a service. possible, but I would NEVER do it in production. so your 2nd choice is much more applicable - although also your AutoIt script must run as a service. for watching for the file: search the forum for filesystem monitoring - or just loop over FileExists() with some Sleep() for running as a service: search the forum for "compile service" - or use SrvAny in the usual way: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/137890/en-us start by reading a bit, let us know if you need help for a more concrete idea. It was quite complex and I'm not sure how well it worked. I think it is better to search for a cross platform language.
