Script starts when F1 is pressed

Recommended Posts

I have a problem with the help but i don't know how to riproduce. Anyway, sometime when i click on a func ( example ConsoleWrite ) and then F1, the help open to ConsoleWrite guide, right? But, sometime, also it start my script too like "Go-Run" of Scite, so i have the guide and my script starting at the same time. I have the lastest stable + full scite

I don't know if i was clear and i don't have this problem anytime.

So guess you issue is that when you have a Script running and you Hit F1, the Helpfile opens and the script runs again?

This issue is fixed/worked-around in SciTE v3.31+.

The script is not running, i have only the script opened in Scite, click F1 and then the help file + the script start, but this issue is not everytime.

If i update from 2.28 to 3.31, the is something i need to know? Something can break script, big changes or things like that?

I do not understand how a script could start when pressing F1.

I get that sometimes, but it is only when my script is running already. Running Version 3.2.0 and before. I will have to update it and see if the new version does the trick...by the way it also happens when you run Tidy (CTRL T)

Correct and was a known issue, Has everything to do with the way the Jobqueue processing is handled in SciTE.
