Port forwarding TCP

Recommended Posts

Hello, ive found client-server screenshot server and client AutoIt code on that forum.

Topic - '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

On local network it works perfect, but while i try change IP from 192.168.0.101 etc. to global IP like - 93.128.x.x. it doesn't work.

Server file doesn't even want to open.

I heared that it's something about port but can someone help me with that?

Thanks very much

What port are you attempting to redirect? Some ISPs block known vulnerable ports.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

some isp block all ports forward mosly if your using wireless connection to them. is some cases you need to call them and tell them to set up specific port for you from their side. but note that some isp charge for using forwarded port on monthly basis.

Thanks for the attention all. I unlocked ports. Sorry i didn't know earlier that i need run server to test ports.

Port are opened, but i still can't get respone from the client.

On server i run TCP Listen with IP 192.168.0.1 ( PC )

On client i run TCP Connect with server IP - 93.127.x.x ( laptop )

Port is 7765 on both

Server running but when i trying to run client on laptop it exiting.

When i put local IP on laptop ( 192.168.0.1 also ) It all works.

But i wanna make it work globally.

Thanks

xdp22 , in my opinion you cant connect your own server using same modem.Because you already connected the modem so it cant forward you to any port. You may test it with VPS ( Virtual PC Server ) or try connect another router by another pc .

Some routers do not support loopback.

Agreed, some routers do not support loopback.  See if that is an option in your router....or if your router supports alternative firmware that has that capability.  Otherwise, find a friend's machine you can test from.
