IE function

This script works, but I think there's an issue with the IE.au3?

Which window is active when this line is used ?

$HWND = WinGetHandle("[ACTIVE]")

if You use F5 (GO) I think it is SciTE

It doesn't focus. Automatically open a new internet explorer and goes to the site I provided. I'm looking for a way to detect if the internet browser exist. If it does; carry on to func dothis() else open a new internet explorer and go to the site provided then go to func dothis.

It doesn't open the URL in IE until it fails to attach, which should be expected, because the active window isn't the browser, it's probably SciTE's window. Your code can't attach to an IE window, because IE isn't the active window so unless you make IE the active window first your WinGetHandle is practically useless where it is in the code.

You should open the browser first and/or try to get the handle to a browser window, use WinGetHandle using the browser's title and not ACTIVE.

Requires AutoIt3 3.3.9 or higher. What version are you running?

Ok... you will need to upgrade AutoIT to at least 3.3.9 in order to use the newer IE.au3.

Are you talking about the beta version of 3.3.9? cause I tried that yesterday and it's still the same error. Secondly, anything I #Included doesn't show me how to use parameters shortcuts when I type. Reversing it back and got that shortcut again.
