lrstndm
I have a simple piece of code but it does not work. $ret = Run(@ComSpec & ' /c Start /w pkgmgr.exe /iu:IIS-Metabase', @SystemDir, @SW_SHOW, 2 + 4) ProcessWaitClose($ret) MsgBox(0, '', 'installed') When i run the script the command prompt starts, it stays empty and the Messagebox at the last line will never show up. What is the problem? Greetz, lrstndm
JohnOne
What is this pkgmgr.exe supposed to do? Does it run manually? Does it close naturally? lrstndm
The pkgmgr (Package manager) is a Package installer for windows. For my purpose I want to install some IIS components. I tried it on a Windows Server 2008 server and this runs OK. It closes automatically after less then a minute and shows me the Messagebox from my code.
