Read from exe file

Hi  All

           Im New to Autoit can any one help  me how to read data from .exe file and displayed in edit window of autoit . i will send data like

       l  ocal $foo = Run("hello.exe" )

         sleep(1000)
          Send($command&@CRLF)

You need to explain more about what you're trying to do, as well as what application you're trying to manipulate. "read data from exe" can mean a lot of things - are you trying to read output from that executable? Or are you trying to determine when that executable is running and take some action on it? Please help us help you ;)
