jdicerch Posted August 8, 2013 Share Posted August 8, 2013 I tried to upload my personal icon to this beautiful UDF, but it comes out blurry in the msgbox. Is there a specific size I need to use? Currently I have it set to the largest (512x512) and it looks great if i open it in windows photo viewer, but it gets blurry when the MsgBox uses it. Any ideas? Thanks! Moderators Melba23 Posted August 8, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 8, 2013 jdicerch,The icon control within the EMB is set to 32x32 pixels - so it is hardly surprising that a very compressed 512x512 icon comes out pretty blurred. I suggest you use an icon utility to produce a smaller resolution version of your personal icon (sounds very exclusive) to use in this case. I have already told you that the UDF requires .ico files as it uses GUICtrlCreateIcon to place the icon. Perhaps the blurring is occuring when you convert that image to .ico format - certainly when I downloaded this free smiley icon it displayed clearly. Please post the full script you are using - perhaps that might explain things. Certainly no-one else has ever complained of "blurring" when using the UDF, so I am at a bit of a loss as to why you are seeing it.
