power1power1
Hello, Is there a way to prevent a specific key press to reach to a specific window? Here is what I need: If Esc is pressed, it is passed on to the active window except if the active window is a specifc one. Instead, I want to pass on 0 to that specific window using ControlSend(). Somehow I have to prevent Esc reaching to that specific window, though.
Moderators JLogan3o13 Posted August 13, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 13, 2013 Take a look at _IsPressed in the help file. You could do something like this (pseudo-code): While WinActive("Window you're looking for") If _IsPressed("ESC key") Then <Do This> WEnd I leave it to you to fill in the gaps "Profanity is the last vestige of the feeble mind. BrewManNH
Look at the help file for HotKeySet. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
