zeroni13
I'm having problems getting this script working, I've never used HotKeySet before and I don't understand what I'm doing wrong. Both the Run commands work by themselves when used out of the functions. HotKeySet("^{F11}", "Desktop") HotKeySet("^{F12}", "OnTop") Func Desktop() Run("C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.exe !RainmeterZpos -2 YBoris-Time") EndFunc Func OnTop() Run("C:\Program Files\Rainmeter\Rainmeter.exe !RainmeterZpos 2 YBoris-Time") EndFunc If anyone could enlighten me on how this actually works I would be grateful. Moderators Melba23 Posted August 14, 2013 Moderators Share Posted August 14, 2013 zeroni13, They both work for me - when I keep the script alive with a loop: HotKeySet("^{F11}", "Desktop") HotKeySet("^{F12}", "OnTop") HotKeySet("{ESC}", "On_Exit") While 1 Sleep(10) WEnd Func Desktop() MsgBox(0, Default, "Ctrl-F11 pressed!") EndFunc Func OnTop() MsgBox(0, Default, "Ctrl-F12 pressed!") EndFunc Func On_Exit() Exit EndFunc M23 Any of my own code posted anywhere on the forum is available for use by others without any restriction of any kind Open spoiler to see my UDFs: Spoiler ArrayMultiColSort ---- Sort arrays on multiple columnsChooseFileFolder ---- Single and multiple selections from specified path treeview listingDate_Time_Convert -- Easily convert date/time formats, including the language usedExtMsgBox --------- A highly customisable replacement for MsgBoxGUIExtender -------- Extend and retract multiple sections within a GUIGUIFrame ---------- Subdivide GUIs into many adjustable framesGUIListViewEx ------- Insert, delete, move, drag, sort, edit and colour ListView itemsGUITreeViewEx ------ Check/clear parent and child checkboxes in a TreeViewMarquee ----------- Scrolling tickertape GUIsNoFocusLines ------- Remove the dotted focus lines from buttons, sliders, radios and checkboxesNotify ------------- Small notifications on the edge of the displayScrollbars ----------Automatically sized scrollbars with a single commandStringSize ---------- Automatically size controls to fit textToast -------------- Small GUIs which pop out of the notification area
Terenz
You have forget to add a loop in your script While 1 Sleep(100) WEnd Nothing is so strong as gentleness. Nothing is so gentle as real strength
zeroni13
Wow, I totally didn't think of that, I feel kinda stupid now. Thanks for fixing it!
