How do I know the ControlClick Coords when I have the mouse position

Hello everyone,

I'm very new here. Now I am writing a script that click to a specific position that my mouse points to.

So, I use "MouseGetPos" to get my mouse position. I want to click on that point in background, therefore I use "ControlClick".

The syntax for "ControlClick" is below (in AutoIt help):

   ControlClick ( "title", "text", controlID [, button [, clicks [, x [, y]]]] )

With x, y are the ControlClick Coords, isnt it?

If yes, how can I get the ControlClick Coords value for this situation

Thank you :huggles:

If you want to clik to a specific position on the screen use MouseClick() instead

ControlClick() sends a mouse click command to a given specific control. for example to a button or to a window

Actually, I am writing a script to join a garena room automatically (It's just a application that very popular in my country. It allows user to play game online such warcraft, aoe, ..)

When open this app, many rooms are listed. A user can enter the room to play game.

I use AutoIt window Info to get info of these rooms but unfortunately there is no difference except the mouse position(and the controlclick Coords) of these rooms.

Thus, I suppose to get mouse position for the room that I want to enter, then send control click to that room (because the room may be busy, I want to enter right after it's available)

Because I have to wait for a while until entering the room, I want clicking to the room in background to do other things.

legna,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked. :naughty:

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope. :)
