[Help] Check the color code

Recommended Posts

I am hoping this example will gently guide you into the wonderful world of AutoIt script writing.

This script activates a particular existing window so that the colour of a particular pixel on that window may be obtained.

; This example uses the AutoIt Help window to get colour.
;---- Auto-start AutoIt help ------
;#cs
If WinExists("AutoIt Help") = 0 Then
    Local $sHelpPath = StringRegExpReplace(@AutoItExe, "([^\\]+$)", "AutoIt3.chm")
    Run('"' & @WindowsDir & '\' & 'hh.exe" "' & $sHelpPath & '::/html/functions/AutoItSetOption.htm#PixelCoordMode"')
EndIf
;#ce
;;----> End of Auto-start AutoIt help ------

Opt("PixelCoordMode", 0) ;1=absolute, 0=relative coordinates to the defined window, 2=client (Influences PixelGetColor function)

Local $sWindowTitle = "AutoIt Help" ; <- Change to your application's name found in window's title bar at top of window.

Local $hWin = WinActivate($sWindowTitle) ; Activate target window and get its handle.
WinWaitActive($sWindowTitle) ; Will wait for the target window to have the focus (be the active window).
Local $iDecColor = PixelGetColor(10, 38, $hWin) ; Get the colour at the relative coordinates of defined window, $hWin
Local $iHexColor = Hex($iDecColor, 6) ; Here colour is in Hex colour format 0xRRGGBB
MsgBox(0, "Colour", "Colour @ (10,38) is 0x" & $iHexColor, 0, $hWin) ; Without $hWin parameter, the message box window can get lost behind the $hWin window.

loveme,

Check the color code of a window is hidden

You cannot use PixelSearch on a hidden window. Somewhere on the forum there is a example function which can search a screenshot of a window in memory, but you would have to activate the window from time to time to grab the screenshot. So you are probably out of luck, sorry. :(

loveme,

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no more help and this thread will now be locked. :naughty:
