Hyflex Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 Hey AutoIt Forums, I'm currently using the following code to alert me when it's sunday as the computer needs to be restarted every sunday. If $sLongDayName = "Sunday" and @HOUR = "21" and @MIN = "00" and @SEC = "00" Then MsgBox("016","Today is Sunday", "Today is Sunday!" & @CRLF & @CRLF & "Please reboot this computer ") EndIf I have a little problem though if the popup is dismissed it wont pop back up again, I know I can change that by removing the @HOUR or what not. But... ideally I'd like a way to alert the user every hour from 21:00 (9pm) till the next day at 21:00 (9pm) (24 hours) to reboot the computer however if the computer's uptime is under 24 hours then there will be no popup... hannes08 Posted August 27, 2013 Share Posted August 27, 2013 Hello Hyflex,you can use a WMI query to the Win32_OperatingSystem class to get the value for lastbootuptime.From there you can find out for how long the PC has been running. M23 Ahh I was searching for the wrong things Helped a lot thank you. Another question, how can I detect the Windows Restart nag and send sc stop wuauserv or net stop wuauserv to banish it?
