add a network printer

Hi, I have to write a autoit script to install a network printer.

When I add a printer by "printers panel" I have to choice "local printer" and then "create new port" and "SmartDeviceMonitor" and not "standard tcp/ip port".

So, the way seems is automate the default path "start"=>"printer & fax"=>"local printer" etc etc..

Anyone could give me some hints to install this printer in a fastest way ? (command line.. shortcuts etc)

bye

Hi,

You may try the freeware utility AdprintX ( http://www.winsite.com/bin/Info?9000000036378 )

good luck
