Activate Window in Linux OS using AutoIT

Hi All

 

      I want to activate a window and send a file path for Windows application i tried lot of things but i didn't get any solution.

any body can tel me how to activate File Upload window and directly send a file path, in Linux machine

Please can any one help on this And help would be greatly appreciated

Shekar,

Please stick to just the one thread at a time. ;)

AutoIt is based on the Windows API. As I understand it there is some functionality if you run apps under WINE, but not if you are in basic Linux.

Perhaps AutoIT is not the right tool if you are using Linux.  It is difficult to tell from your post exactly what you are trying to do, but Shell or Perl may be the better choice on Linux.  If you are trying to do something via a webpage, wget can be used directly to make http calls.  Again, hard to tell what you actually need from the post, so I could be way off on a potential solution.
