Time on notepad/send

I have a problem with this script

and to send the notebook to use the command "controlsend" ?

This statement - and to send the notebook to use the command "controlsend" ? - makes no sense. Can you please elaborate? You have the _NowDate() value, what application are you attempting to send that vaiue to?

Store the date in a var

Then use controlsettext or controlsend to write it on notepad.

$var = _NowDate() and then send that var

Look at this line of code, and compare it to what you see in the help file. Specifically look at the last parameter you're passing:

Seriously, you looked in the help file and don't see a different between this:

ControlSetText ( "title", "text", controlID, "new text")

And yours:

ControlSetText("[CLASS:Notepad]", "", "Edit1", & $var &")

??

Maybe try just $var as your last parameter, stripping out the unnecessary &'s and "s ???

Isn't that what you wanted it to do?

As BrewManNH pointed out, gasik, what were you expecting? As pointed out in the help file (really would be good for you to look into it), the _NowDate() function returns the date specified in your computer's regional settings. If you would like to alter the format, you're going to have to change the settings or alter the variable output in the script.

I see what your error was in the previous script, you put quotes around the function _NowDate, so the variable $var = "_NowDate()" instead the date from _NowDate().

What you seem to be is unwilling to show any effort rather than "not smart". Why bother trying to use AutoIt if you're not going to take the time to learn about it, or try things on your own? Also, there are plenty of folks on this forum that do not speak English natively, but they learn because they want to - they're not looking for someone to spoon-feed them code.
