Passing a variable with quotation marks around it

Hello, I have been trying to set a variable that contains quotation marks, but I can not seem to figure out how to go about this..

This will capture $name from the user input box, and it passed the variable along to the text file without an issue.

The next part of the script requires this variable to have quotation marks around it if (if it is more than one word)

I am looking for a method to include quotation marks ("") within this variable, or simply pass the variable with quotation marks around it. Basically, I'm trying to get the  '$name'  variable in the text file to contain quotes. How would I go about accomplishing something like this? I am encountering errors with everything I try.

Here is the code:

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
Opt("GUIOnEventMode", 1)
#Region ### START Koda GUI section ### Form=
$Form2 = GUICreate("Form2", 225, 122, 302, 218)
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_CLOSE, "Form2Close")
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_MINIMIZE, "Form2Minimize")
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_MAXIMIZE, "Form2Maximize")
GUISetOnEvent($GUI_EVENT_RESTORE, "Form2Restore")
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Button1", 24, 80, 171, 33)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "Button1Click")
$Input1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("Input1", 16, 24, 185, 21)
GUICtrlSetOnEvent(-1, "Input1Change")
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)
#EndRegion ### END Koda GUI section ###

While 1
    Sleep(100)
WEnd

Func Button1Click()
     Global $name = GUICtrlRead($input1)
     Global $file = FileOpen("newfile.txt", 1)

FileWriteLine($file, "fdk.setname " & $name)

FileClose($file)
EndFunc
Func Form2Close()
exit
EndFunc

I am sure this is probably a simple issue, I am still fairly new to autoit, so any help is appreciated. -Thanks in advance

FileWriteLine($file, 'fdk.setname "' & $name & '"')

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator
