How to click this link/button?

Recommended Posts

 Hi all. I have a button in this HTML code called "Carton Detail List". I'm having trouble simulating a click on this object and not sure why its not working. I've tried _IEAction($buttonName, "click") and also _IEPropertyGet and tried to mouse click on its coords but still cannot get it working. When the mouse is moved over the menu item, the list of buttons becomes visible. Anyone have an easy solution for this?

See in the below picture, when the cursor is put over the word "Links". A dropdown appears with all the links.

            Sorry everyone. I have attached my HTML file to this post. I couldnt get it to display in my forum post.

local $formit = _IEGetObjByName($navbar, "Carton Detail List")
Local $fraTitleNavx = _IEFrameGetObjByName($fraRight, "fraTitleNavx")
Local $navbar = _IEFormGetObjByName($fraTitleNavx, "NAVBAR_FORM")

As you can see I can get reference to the button and display the HTML for it. I just cant get _IEAction to click the button.

<button id="links" class="Nav" onclick="fnNavDown2(event)" onmouseout="fnNavOut2(event)" onmouseover="fnNavDown2(event)" accesskey="k" title="Links (Alt-K)">

i would use the button id to click on it. how ever you could use the title but it has the Alt-K which could be a little messy.

as for clicking the item in the drop down, since i dont have the full code the buttons are broken and dont do anything. cant really tell you how to click something in the drop down when i dont have access to the drop down haha
