hi,

i have got a problem with my autoit script because when i launch my application i've got other windows which appear suddenly(in fact that's not the only application that's running)

i use winwaitactive

winwaitactivate

winshow("title", "", "@SW_Show)

before every mouseclick but the apparition of those windows are random which pertube the execution of my script.

i can't use also the Adlib function because i could not obtain the name of those windows with autoit Spy

these windows are actually displayed by another application which is running that's why autoit spy cannot identify them

i'de like my window to remain displayed in foreground

so want can do!!!!

thank u for ur assistance

you could try:

WinSetOnTop

WinSetOnTop

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Change a window's "Always On Top" attribute.

WinSetOnTop ( "title", "text", flag )

I like to use Control functions whenever possible, since they do not need window focus to work.

AutoIt3, the MACGYVER Pocket Knife for computers.

Shoot. I just asked this in another thread. I am trying to find an answer too. I have looked at WinSetOnTop but it doesn't guarentee your Windows will always be on top. I am looking for a way to determine which Window is "On Top" so I can close them until my windows is on top. Any ideas?

ZiggyStardust,

Oh come on - necroing an EIGHT year old thread is just not on. Do you seriously expect a reply given that the last poster has not even been active for over FOUR years?

Do NOT do it again! :naughty:
