FileWriteLine won't work

Hi. I'm trying to create a file containing a string with the extension *.txt in the script's folder, but the file won't be created.

My script:

#include <String.au3>
#include <File.au3>

FileWrite(@ScriptDir & "\test.txt", "Test") 

I have tried it like this:

#include <String.au3>
#include <File.au3>

FileOpen(@ScriptDir & "\test.txt", 1)
FileWrite(@ScriptDir & "\test.txt", "Test") 

But, by adding the

FileOpen(@ScriptDir & "\test.txt", 1)

An extension-less file appears, with the name 0, empty.

NOTE: I am using Windows 8 Pro

EDIT: Oh, well, it seems I just had to replace the plus sign with the and sign. Anyway, it works now, but I still have a problem: If I replace @ScriptDir with @SystemDir, the file won't be created, no errors thrown in the console.

you want flag 9 for FileOpen().

FileOpen(@ScriptDir + "\test.txt", 9) ;1 = Write mode (append to end of file) +  8 = Create directory structure if it doesn't exist (See Remarks).

FileWrite(@ScriptDir + "\test.txt", "Test")

You need admin rights to write a file in the system32 folder, you'd need to run your script with #RequireAdmin.

There is really no need to write to system32, unless you have a very very very good reason. What is it?
