Script Disable/enable LAN when trying to run an .exe

Recommended Posts

I need a windows script that will disable the LAN when opening a certain application and enable it again after that app has closed.

If such a thing is not possible then just a short script that would do this:

1)LAN disabled
2)Launch app

My OS: Win7 Ultimate 32bit

NikolaTr,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

We do not write scripts to order - we help you get your scripts working as you wish. So I suggest you have look around the forum and see if you can come up with something. As I assume you are new to AutoIt, reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) will help you enormously. You should also look at this excellent tutorial - you will find other tutorials in the Wiki (the link is at the top of the page). When you have some code with which you need help, you can post it here, but please use Code tags - see here how to do it. ;)

Finally, did your mother never teach you say "please"? :huh:

#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
#include <process.au3>
#include <File.au3>
Guicreate(0,0,0,0,0)
$bt = GuiCtrlCreateButton(Diable,0,0,0,0)
$bt1 = GuiCtrlCreateButton(Enable,0,0,0,0)
$NETWORK_NAME = GUICtrlCreateInput("ENTER YOUR NETWOK NAME which you want disable or enable",0,0,0,)
while
        $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
        Switch $nMsg
            Case $bt
Run("control netconnections")
WinWait("Network Connections")
$ControlID = ControlListView("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321", "FindItem",$NETWORK_NAME)
Sleep(300)
ControlListView("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321", "SelectClear")
Sleep(300)
ControlListView("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321", "Select", $ControlID)
Sleep(300)
ControlSend("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321","!f")
ControlSend("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321","!b")
winclose("Network Connections")
case  $bt1
Run("control netconnections")
WinWait("Network Connections")
$ControlID = ControlListView("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321", "FindItem", $COMPANY_NAME)
Sleep(300)
ControlListView("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321", "SelectClear")
Sleep(300)
ControlListView("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321", "Select", $ControlID)
Sleep(300)
ControlSend("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321","!f")
ControlSend("Network Connections", "", "SystemListView321","!a")
winclose("Network Connections")
Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
                Exit
