Hi all,

(i am beginner:)

I have a question:

At the end of the script I would like to see in one message box all results (messages) from a previous loop. Can anyone give a hint, pls?

Here is part of my code:

Local $var=5 ; $var varies acc. to input from GUI

For $i = 1 to $var
msgbox(0,"Info","Item "&$i& " updated")
Next

msgbox(0,"Summary","Following Items have been updated: " ???) ; here should be printed all updated items

Thanks

bongo001,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

Declare an empty variable and concatentate all the updated items within it. Here is an example based on your snippet:

#include <Constants.au3>

Local $iCount = 5

; Create the empty variable
Local $sAll = ""

For $i = 1 To $iCount
    MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL + $MB_ICONINFORMATION, "Info", "Item " & $i & " updated")
; Concatenate the updated information to the variable
    $sAll &= "Item " & $i & " updated" & @CRLF
Next

; And now display it
MsgBox($MB_SYSTEMMODAL + $MB_ICONINFORMATION, "Summary", "Following Items have been updated:" & @CRLF & $sAll)
All clear? Please ask if not. :)

Or simply:

MsgBox(0,"Summary","Following Items have been updated: 1-" & $var)
