Restored GUI looses picture

Hi Guys,

Got a strange one I can't figure out and thought I would run it past you all.

I have a GUI which only has one Gif file in it. The "logo" displays fine until you minimise and then restore the GUI. The image then disappears. I am loading the image exactly the same in a Parent GUI and the issue does not happen in that GUI.

I have "checked" to the best of my ability that there is nothing within it's boundaries so kind of lost.

My code is rather big on this particular GUI and has a lot of Includes so attaching it all would be a bit of a mine field. I'm hoping someone else has seen this before and tells me what a dufus I am for doing it wrong. lol

Anyways, appreciate any comments or suggestions. Thanks guys.

Code below is how I am showing the image in the GUI. Oh, and I am not doing anything with Minimise / Restore if that's significant here.

$temp = @TempDir

FileInstall(".\source\logo.gif", $temp & "\l3.gif", 1)
$pic2 = GUICtrlCreatePic($temp & "\l3.gif", 20, 13,0,0)

Can you post a script that reproduces the problem?

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

I hereby grant any person the right to use any code I post, that I am the original author of, on the autoitscript.com forums, unless I've specifically stated otherwise in the code or the thread post. If you do use my code all I ask, as a courtesy, is to make note of where you got it from.

Back up and restore Windows user files _Array.au3 - Modified array functions that include support for 2D arrays.  -  ColorChooser - An add-on for SciTE that pops up a color dialog so you can select and paste a color code into a script.  -  Customizable Splashscreen GUI w/Progress Bar - Create a custom "splash screen" GUI with a progress bar and custom label.  -  _FileGetProperty - Retrieve the properties of a file  -  SciTE Toolbar - A toolbar demo for use with the SciTE editor  -  GUIRegisterMsg demo - Demo script to show how to use the Windows messages to interact with controls and your GUI.  -   Latin Square password generator

I'll see if I can replicate it and get back to you. Thanks

I fixed it...

Just needed to add the Image dimensions. Which is strange as in another GUI using the same image I don't have the same issue.

from

Local $pic2 = GUICtrlCreatePic($temp & "\l3.gif", 20, 13, 0, 0)

to

Local $pic2 = GUICtrlCreatePic($temp & "\l3.gif", 20, 13, 186, 55)
