MsgBox Problem

You have to create your own, the Windows messagebox will pause the script. Check out Melba's Extended Message box.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

Search the Index tab of the helpfile for Command Line Parameters

Form4: AutoIt3.exe [/ErrorStdOut] /AutoIt3ExecuteLine "command line"
Execute one line of code.

To execute a single line of code, use the command:
Run(@AutoItExe & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteLine "MsgBox(0, ''Hello World!'', ''Hi!'')"')

The example will run the msgbox as another process, so your script will proceed.

BrewManNH,

My ExtMsgBox UDF still pauses the script, just like MsgBox. However, Yashied wrote a NotifyBox UDF a while ago that did not. ;)

Oops, been so long since I've looked at the code, I forgot. :

I want it as a function... Where I can pass my data in the parameters:

I have a nasty syntaxerror somewhere... Can't fnd it by all those quotes... -_- ?

Func _MsgBoxEx($iFlag, $sTitle, $sText)
  Run(@AutoItExe & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteLine "MsgBox(' & $iFlag & ',' & "'" &  $sTitle & "'" &',' ',' & "'" &  $sText & "'" & '")"')
EndFunc

Func _MsgBoxEx($iFlag, $sTitle, $sText)
  Run(@AutoItExe & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteLine "MsgBox(""' & $iFlag & '"",""' & $sTitle & '"",""' & $sText & '"")"')
EndFunc

Too many quotes try this.

Func _MsgBoxEx($iFlag, $sTitle, $sText)
  Run(@AutoItExe & ' /AutoIt3ExecuteLine "MsgBox(' & $iFlag & ',' & "'" &  $sTitle & "'" &','  & "'" &  $sText & "'" & ')"')
EndFunc
