tk1 Posted December 12, 2013 Author Share Posted December 12, 2013 Also, another good check is to use "#AutoIt3Wrapper_AU3Check_Parameters=-d -w 1 -w 2 -w 3 -w- 4 -w 6" at the top of your script to make sure that all your variables are being used correctly. Being new to AutoIt, I'm not getting the distinction here of what this does vs. what AutoItSetOption("MustDeclareVars", 1) does. Testing this, the only thing I see is that the former lets my script run, then marks up the code with the errors and shows them in the output pane; whereas the latter does that prior to and therefore prevents it from running. tk Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a parameter setting for when Au3Check is run. -d = the same as AutoItSetOption("MustDeclareVars", 1) -w 1 = check to see if you're including the same file twice -w 2 = missing #comments-end statement -w 3 = already declared variable, in case you're accidentaly redeclaring a variable somewhere else in your script -w- 4 = don't check for local variables declared in Global scope (this is turned on for consistency with help file examples) -w 6 = warn if you're using Dim If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. I don't remember seeing that in the examples or the (very few) UDF's that I've looked at so far, but that does not mean that it wasn't there. That help file has been my friend, but me thinks it has been holding out on me! I will check out Au3Check in the help file.
