Maybe explain what it is you're trying to do, that snippet isn't any help.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

- show a tooltip
- send ALT+PRTSCRN
- sleep for 200
- show blank tooltip

the only thing you'll see when you run this is the tooltip show for 0.2 seconds

to email the pic you'll need to save the binary from the clipboard to a file, generate an email, attach the file and send

check out functions _ScreenCapture_Capture   and _ScreenCapture_SaveImage

i cant remember the email function but it's really easy to use   SMTPSend or something like that.

Good luck :)

some email tools:

_INetSmtpMail

_INetMail

i don't think they can do attachments though so you might need to use a third party commandline email program like Blat and run it using RunWait

I did not understand well Can you give me an example

& Thank you for help :D

neither of the two functions I said can do attachments.

Download the windows commandline email program BLAT

To make an email and attach the screenshot:

RunWait(@ComSpec & " /c " & @ScriptDir & '\blat310\full\blat.exe - -body "body text here" -to username@isp.com -pw mypassword -attach snapshot.jpg', "", @SW_HIDE)

I'd use FileInstall to save a copy of blat.exe inside your script and dump it to the local drive during execution of your autoit script then on close have it delete Blat.

You'll need to provide the full path to Blat and to the attachment jpg file unless they live in the same folder as the script or are in your PATH environment variable.

If you're going to be sending attachments use '?do=embed' frameborder='0' data-embedContent>>

Can you please be a bit more specific? "Not working" doesn't tell us much :)

What doesn't work? The screen capture part? The mailing part?

Do you get an error message?

If it is the mail part, what return value and error value (@error) do you get?

Variable $findtext is undefined so AutoIt doesn't know what to search for in function StringInStr.

Replace $findtext with "failure".
