hiccup Posted December 12, 2013 Share Posted December 12, 2013 I'm trying to make a script that creates a desktop shortcut to mycomputer on a Windows 7 machine. I know I have to use the FileCreateShortcut function, but I'm not sure what path to give it for the first file parameter. I tried using explorer.exe for the path, but that just takes me to MyDocuments by default. Does anyone know what the right file path for a mycomputer shortcut on Windows 7 would be? Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
