Can someone explain why this doesn't work?

This should draw a octagon (by using paint's pencil tool), but what happens is it only draws a dot because the mouse doesn't move. For some reason, it only does lines 1, 2, and the last one.

HotKeySet("q", "draw")

$r=-50

Func draw()
    MouseMove(@DesktopWidth/2+$r, @DesktopHeight/2)
    MouseDown("left")
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)    , MouseGetPos(1)+$r , 0)
    ;ConsoleWrite("curx: "&MouseGetPos(0)&" newx: "&MouseGetPos(0)+$r&" cury: "&MouseGetPos(1)&" newy: "&MouseGetPos(1)+$r&@crlf)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)-$r , MouseGetPos(1)+$r , 0)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)-$r , MouseGetPos(1)    , 0)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)-$r , MouseGetPos(1)-$r , 0)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)    , MouseGetPos(1)-$r , 0)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)+$r , MouseGetPos(1)-$r , 0)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)+$r , MouseGetPos(1)    , 0)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)+$r , MouseGetPos(1)+$r , 0)
    MouseUp("left")
EndFunc
while 1
    Sleep(10)
WEnd

I tried doing this with MouseClickDrag (and it worked), but I'd like it to do it with one single click instead of stopping everytime it reachs the new point.

It's not giving an error so why is this not working?

Try this.

HotKeySet("q", "draw")

$r=-50

Func draw()
    MouseMove(@DesktopWidth/2+$r, @DesktopHeight/2)
    MouseDown("left")
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)    , MouseGetPos(1)+$r , 0)
    sleep(300)
    ;ConsoleWrite("curx: "&MouseGetPos(0)&" newx: "&MouseGetPos(0)+$r&" cury: "&MouseGetPos(1)&" newy: "&MouseGetPos(1)+$r&@crlf)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)-$r , MouseGetPos(1)+$r , 0)
     sleep(300)
   MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)-$r , MouseGetPos(1)    , 0)
    sleep(300)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)-$r , MouseGetPos(1)-$r , 0)
    sleep(300)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)    , MouseGetPos(1)-$r , 0)
    sleep(300)
    MouseMove(MouseGetPos(0)+$r , MouseGetPos(1)-$r , 0)

    MouseUp("left")
EndFunc
while 1
    Sleep(10)
WEnd
