Hey guys,

Great forum! I'm almost brand-spanking new to AUTOIT/KODA, and I need a little assistance.

I'm using Koda to create a GUI. When someone selects an entry from my combo box I need it to populate an input box (Input2) with info depending on the combo box selection. I need the input box to stay open/active in case someone wants to add their own info and skip using the combo box selections.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Here's what I have for my gui

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <ComboConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
$Form1 = GUICreate("EXAMPLE", 398, 134, 254, 124)
$Label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Machine name", 8, 8, 74, 17)
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 112, 8, 257, 21)
GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "FQDN")
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Go", 152, 88, 97, 25)
$District = GUICtrlCreateCombo("District", 8, 40, 81, 25)
GUICtrlSetData(-1, "ONE|TWO|THREE|FOUR")
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 112, 40, 257, 21)
GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "NetApp")
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit

    EndSwitch
WEnd

This should do it, or at least help in figuring out what you need it to do.

#include <ButtonConstants.au3>
#include <ComboConstants.au3>
#include <EditConstants.au3>
#include <GUIConstantsEx.au3>
#include <StaticConstants.au3>
#include <WindowsConstants.au3>
$Form1 = GUICreate("EXAMPLE", 398, 134, 254, 124)
$Label1 = GUICtrlCreateLabel("Machine name", 8, 8, 74, 17)
$cInput1 = GUICtrlCreateInput("", 112, 8, 257, 21)
GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "FQDN")
$Button1 = GUICtrlCreateButton("Go", 152, 88, 97, 25)
$District = GUICtrlCreateCombo("District", 8, 40, 81, 25)
GUICtrlSetData(-1, "ONE|TWO|THREE|FOUR")
GUICtrlCreateInput("", 112, 40, 257, 21)
GUICtrlSetTip(-1, "NetApp")
GUISetState(@SW_SHOW)

While 1
    $nMsg = GUIGetMsg()
    Switch $nMsg
        Case $GUI_EVENT_CLOSE
            Exit
        case $District
            GUICtrlSetData($cInput1, guictrlread($District))
    EndSwitch
WEnd
