detect keypresses

I did not see any code for this anywhere. and not sure how to start looking for the info.

I seem to remember in the msdn, there are references to WM_KEYUP (which detects on the key release) and VK_UP for the up arrow key code.

I want to do this against an inputbox, my guess is I will have to do this in the messageloop. I wanted something reactive, as in you hit a key and results show up or are updated.

is there a way I can detect this?

got it... $WM_KEYUP in WindowsConstants.au3

seems to be available, but still not sure how to do this, because the case statement is ignoring the case statement somehow. what do I do? not sure why this isn't working.
