garysr59
Hello I have the command which opens a hidden plink connection to a host. Plink at it's various parameters are in the $runthis variable. $pID = Run(@comspec & " /c" & $runThis, "", @SW_HIDE, $STDIN_CHILD + $STDERR_MERGED) I would like to unhide the window so the user can enter some commands. How can this be done?
BrewManNH
Don't use @SW_HIDE and use @SW_SHOW would be my first guess. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day. l3ill
Hi Brewman, I thought so too, but after checking the help file its doesn't look like run supports @sw_show... Maybe just leave that param. out altogether...? Bill My Contributions... BrewManNH
It supports it, there's a lot of flags that the help file doesn't show in the Run section. Take, for example, the example script in the help file for it, it uses the macro @SW_SHOWMAXIMIZED and that flag isn't documented in that section. l3ill
Then you need to get the handle of that window: $hwnd = WinGetHandle("yourwindow") WinSetState($hwnd, "", @SW_SHOW) Edited January 7, 2014 by l3ill My Contributions... garysr59
I tried this since I already have the handle from the run command WinSetState($pID, "", @SW_SHOW) but nothing showed
