uloff
Hi everyone! I'm a complete newb in programming and I'm asking for your help and advice. I would like to create a macro that would work in game. Usually dealing damage in any type of MMORPGs is a simple rotation. Rotating spells and cooldowns is routine. I would like to automate it. The idea is simple - I press one button in game and macro presses several buttons. Making rules like "if spell is not on cooldown then press 1, if it's on cooldown then press 2" is the thing I need to code. But I'm a complete newb and looking at example code text is frightening. Where do I start and how do I succeed? The MMO I was talking about is SWTOR, but I think the overall experience is the same for any MMO.

Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked. See you soon with a legitimate question I hope.
