JamesL
I have a string, that I'd like to see if it contains "boo". Does AutoIt have something like .Contains, such as: If $result.Contains("boo") Then DoSomething Many thanks, James

Moderators Melba23 Posted January 27, 2014 Moderators Share Posted January 27, 2014 JamesL,Welcome to the AutoIt forum. This could get a bit frustrating for you (and us) if you have to ask such basic questions all the time (the answer in "No" by the way). As a complete beginner (which we all were at some point so no problem there) reading the Help file (at least the first few sections - Using AutoIt, Tutorials and the first couple of References) will help you enormously. You should also look at this excellent tutorial - you will find other tutorials in the Wiki (the link is at the top of the page). That will give you a good feel for AutoIt syntax and structure.
