DarkLordZim
i'm trying to simply toggle between @SW_SHOW and @SW_HIDE, but there isn't an easy way to do it since there isn't a GUIGetState() function to go with the GUISetState() function. I am currently doing a work around by having a $GUI_Toggled boolean variable, that i check against, and then set the state, and toggle the variable... but this seems like extra work, when i should just be able to check if the GUI state is @SW_Show or @SW_Hide then flip it... I'm using a TrayMenu Item as the "Show/Hide" OnEvent to toggle visibility as a "Minimize to tray" idea... anyone have any other ideas?
Moderators Melba23 Posted February 7, 2014 Moderators Share Posted February 7, 2014 DarkLordZim,As it is a GUI in your script, it is expected that you should know its state - after all, you must have something determining whether it should be visible or hidden, so why is that not sufficient to track the state? What do you use as a trigger for state changes? If all else fails, you could always use WinGetState - it will work on an AutoIt-created GUI just like any other.
