cag8f
I'm having trouble evaluating 2 numbers I've retrieved from 2 different SQLite databases. The relevant Autoit code is this: _SQLite_GetTable2d($hndl1, "SELECT code, thresh FROM t01;", $aResult1, $iRows1, $iColumns1) _SQLite_GetTable2d($hndl2, "SELECT code, price FROM t02;", $aResult2, $iRows2, $iColumns2) If $aResult1[1][1] > $aResult2[1][1] Then ConsoleWrite("Yay") EndIf The numbers are each from real fields. The numbers have values of 10.0 and 8.99 respectively, and the If statement should evaluate to True, but it doesn't. When I update the database so that the former value becomes a value in the range 8.99 < x < 10.0, then the IF statement correctly evaluates to True. But any value over 10 unexpectedly evaluates to False. Any ideas on what I'm missing? FYI: I can perform mathematical operations on the 2 values without any issues, regardless of their values. jchd
Use this: If Number($aResult1[1][1]) > Number($aResult2[1][1]) Then This wonderful site allows debugging and testing regular expressions (many flavors available). cag8f
Ok thanks, that resolved the issue. But just so I understand, why do I have to do that? The _SQLite_GetTable2d() function doesn't pass SQLite data as numbers?

cag8f
Got it. Autoit considers the variables in-question to be strings. But the SQLite fields in-question are both real type. Does Autoit ignore this and assign a string type to all variables acquired from SQLite? Or am I maybe missing a parameter somewhere?
jchd
That's what the current implementation (wrongly) does. Improvements are on their way but for the time being you have to cope with the UDF as primitive as it is.
