Catch "Enter" on GUI Focus Only

Hi Everyone,

Apologies if the answer already exists - I had a search but wasn't able to find anything quite on this.

I've got a GUI form all set up with a loop to catch the enter key - all working fine so far. Problem is the loop continues to monitor even when the GUI is not focused - is there a way to set this to only happen when the GUI is actively clicked?

While 1

   sleep(100)
   If _IsPressed("0D") Then
   $nMsg = $Button1
      EndIf

I guess something like "If GUI=Focus" - but I can't find anything that does that - any suggestions?

Thanks everyone!

Eambo,

Look at GUISetAccelerators in the Help file - very similar to HotKeys but only active when the GUI is active. :)

Thank you both for your advice!

I ended up going with PlayHD's suggestion (as the simpler, although possibly uglier, method) - I ended up using:

While 1

   sleep(100)
If WinActive("Name of This Window") and _IsPressed("0D") Then
 $nMsg = $Button1
EndIf

Appreciate the help though, there's a lot of features of AutoIt I forget about, and WinActive was one of them! :-)
