Doesn't work

Well it works for me. So now as a Developer you need to do a little bit of debugging. Did you change the SciTE.exe process to that awful blahblah.exe?

Note: I think you're little confused as to what you're trying to do. Am I right in saying that you think by activating a window the caret is put in place of an edit/input control?

Ofcourse i changed the process name, lol

As i said i just want to use the WinActivate function . Just filtered by process name and not title name. That's what i am going to do

I just want to write a text inside a process.

Like Send("abcd") inside blabla.exe

Wow, most would look at the code someone had kindly created and use the help file to understand what the functions do, maybe use the search input in the Forum.

I'm outta here as I don't take too kindly to people who are rude as well as disrespectful.

Wow, most would look at the code someone had kindly created and use the help file to understand what the functions do, maybe use the search input in the Forum.

I'm outta here as I don't take too kindly to people who are rude as well as disrespectful.

PS I am one of a small group who maintains the help file, so thanks for the insult.

That's a feedback, yes, u should be thankful. 

And i've got more: The help file just helps to confuse you. It may be usefull for autoit experienced programmers, not for newbies,since they are not clear for who know nearly nothing of that, like me.
