DaveYuhas
Local $rc = RunWait(@ComSpec & " /k sfc /scannow") Windows returns: Windows Resource Protection could not start the repair service. Is there another way to start the SFC?

DaveYuhas
Google it. Answer is out there. I've decided to jettison Autoit. There's little to no third-party support, no instructional books, etc.
Moderators Melba23 Posted March 19, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 19, 2014 DaveYuhas, There's little to no third-party supportRemember that this is not a 24/7 support forum - those who answer are only here because they like helping others and have some time to spare. Although the problem might be urgent to you, it is not to anyone else. jdelaney
There is nothing that anyone here can do to help you either. Google the issue; you are not providing the proper paramaters. Autoit will only perform the run command, but YOU need to compile the proper command to run. Again, google your exact failure reason...first link will solve it. http://lmgtfy.com/?q=Windows+Resource+Protection+could+not+start+the+repair+service Edited March 19, 2014 by jdelaney IEbyXPATH-Grab IE DOM objects by XPATH IEscriptRecord-Makings of an IE script recorder ExcelFromXML-Create Excel docs without excel installed GetAllWindowControls-Output all control data on a given window.
