How to check and set time when system Windows, check for updates.

If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.

WSUS is located on server.

I ask about

how to check if work station have enabled "windows update checking",

and .

how to check when system check for update ?

Standard time when Windows chceck for system update is 03:00.

I need to verify this on many computers, and set a more reasonable hour, eg 9:00 or the time when people use computers in offices.

btw.

not all my clients have AD and not all use WSUS,

The reason it uses 3:00 as the default is because it tends to piss people off if you reboot their computers when they're using them.

BTW, a search brought me to this page.
