rcmaehl
Okay, I'm trying to run telnet.exe. My main problem is that it's existence is not recognized. FileExists("C:\Windows\System32\telnet.exe") Run("C:\Windows\System32\telnet.exe") Run(@Comspec & " /c C:\Windows\System32\telnet.exe") ShellExecute("C:\Windows\System32\telnet.exe") All error out. The file is in the directory: Is there something special I need to do to run telnet.exe, I can run it both through cmd.exe (Not @Comspec, which appears to be a Perl Command Line?) and the run dialog just fine? Solution BrewManNH Posted April 23, 2014 Solution Share Posted April 23, 2014 Are you running the script as a 32 bit process or a 64 bit? Telnet.exe isn't in SysWOW64, so if you're running it as a 32 bit program it won't find the file. If I posted any code, assume that code was written using the latest release version unless stated otherwise. Also, if it doesn't work on XP I can't help with that because I don't have access to XP, and I'm not going to.Give a programmer the correct code and he can do his work for a day.
