Hold down shift

Recommended Posts

So I downloaded autoit and I was surprised to find it was very complicated...

Anyone can give me a help with the following?

I need a script that:

Sends shift down.

Keeps it down for 5 seconds.

Sends shift up

Waits 8 seconds.

Repeats

It's just it seems kinda pointless to learn the whole language for only this script, and it's really complicated so I don't think I will learn it fast Im kinda of a thick-head

Okay so this is what I came up with:

While 1=1
Send("{LSHIFT down}")
Sleep(4000)
Send("{LSHIFT up}")
Send("{LSHIFT down}")
Sleep(4000)
Send("{LSHIFT up}")
Sleep(5000)
WEnd

The loop works BUT it wont run into the program (The Elder Scrolls Online)

It's not detecting the key-strokes. Any idea on how can I solve this?

Skray1234,

Welcome to the AutoIt forum. :)

Unfortunately you appear to have missed the Forum rules on your way in. Please read them now (there is also a link at bottom right of each page) - particularly the bit about not discussing game automation - and then you will understand why you will get no help and this thread will now be locked. :naughty:

See you soon with a legitimate question I hope. :)
